From Dallas, Texas, Jeffrey holds a degree in Mass Communications with a specialty in Public Relations. Jeffrey has been a motivational speaker and facilitator. He is the CEO of HTEDance and has designed and choreographed large scale productions for events such as Tournament of Roses, Dallas Holiday Parade and NCAA Bowl Games.
From Sinton, Texas, Jesse has served in the United States Army. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. He spent years as a retail manager and was a teacher for over 13 years. He is currently the COO of HTEDance and manages a large scale retail store and competition organization.
A West Texas girl who now lives in East Texas, Cassie is a graduate of Baylor University with a BA in Professional Writing. She has spent most of her career at Children's Medical Center Dallas corralling volunteers, directing the Dallas Holiday Parade, managing groups and producing events. Cassie now works for HTEDance where she continues to direct the Dallas Holiday Parade, manage websites and do anything else needed. Never a dancer, she has been a dance mom. She is best known in the office for her baked goods!
Miguel graduated from San Marcos High School where he was a two-year member of the Diamond Line Dance Team. He recently graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BFA in Dance. While attending Sam Houston State, he was selected for the six-time national championship winning Orange Pride Dance Team for three years serving as Choreographer Officer for one year. He currently lives in Dallas and works for HTEDance.
Brandon Bryant was born in Miami, FL and has been dancing since the age of seven. He was a member a funky young hip hop group, The Hip Hop Kidz, designed to help children stay active and off the streets. They performed at halftime shows, television shows and even Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In high school, he was part of the local dance team and even started doing their hip-hop choreography his Sophomore year. Since then, he took first place with a national award-winning routine every year. He has performed in Aida the Opera, the AFL Dance Company, Odyssey Dance Theater and Soul Escape Company. His most exciting and life changing opportunity came when he made it on “So You Think You Can Dance: Season 5.” Brandon was the runner-up for that season and went on a 40-city tour of the US with the top 12 dancers of the show. He is now continuing his career in LA and has already been cast in FOX's hit TV show “Glee!” He has also had the chance to choreograph and dance with the Swedish hit artists, Agnes, where they performed in Cologne, Germany for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. He has had the opportunity to serve as a role model for major LGBT events and appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, Nickelodeon, and even today's stand out reality hit “X Factor,” performing with Outasight. He just finished a production as the main choreographer for an independent film, “DANCIN’ IT’S ON.” He is a featured dancer in Britney Spears' upcoming new video scheduled to drop in July and is currently a principal dancer in the Infamous Brittany Spears Resident show in Las Vegas! This is Brandon’s fifth year on HTEDance’s Pro Staff! Brandon has indeed had the opportunity to impact thousands of young dancers and is here to do the same for you!
Stephanie’s love and passion for dance has been felt by the thousands that have had the opportunity to take class from her. She began her dance career with Gino Johnson’s Planet Funk Entertainment. She then went on to be one of the original staff members of the Dallas Power House.
Stephanie is a former Dallas Mavericks captain/choreographer, former Dallas Desperados dancer/choreographer and master prep class instructor for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, HTEDance, MA, NDA and ADTS. She is currently the Director/Choreographer of the Allen American Ice Angels.
She has choreographed for several colleges, some of which include Harvard University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M, Baylor University, UTD, Texas Woman’s University and Tyler Junior College. She has taught over 400 high school drill teams from all over. All of her competed pieces have received a national title or first overall!

Sarah has been dancing for 30 years. She spent her childhood years in the studio, at conventions and competitions, and working as an assistant teacher. In high school, she was a member of the L.D. Bell Raiderettes and served as Captain her Senior year. Her time on drill team lead to a job working for HTEDance, teaching camps and workshops for ten years. She has done award-winning choreography for dance teams across Texas. Sarah has also served as a judge for competitions and try outs, and has repeatedly served as a presenter at the Drill Team Directors of America Convention speaking in the area of technique and teaching master classes. She was also the original director for the Frisco Texas Tornado Siren Dancers, and spent a year as assistant director for the Liberty Christian School Danzteam. She currently choreographs for the Dallas Baptist University Patriettes, Tyler Junior College Apache Belles and the Oklahoma State University Pom Squad.
Sarah is a 2004 Cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. After college, she became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from 2005-2010, serving as a group leader for three years. In that time she performed with artists such as Jason Aldean, The Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow, Daughtry, Usher, Neal McCoy and more. She was a member of their prestigious traveling Show Group. Performances with the USO, and more, took her to places such as: Mexico, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Cuba, England, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, Japan, China, Kuwait and Iraq. On top of all that, she has had the opportunity to work in radio, T.V. and movies. She has danced in the movies Tekken and Disney's Invincible. She has performed at the CMT music awards, the NBA All-Star Game, appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Good Day Live, Good Morning Texas, House Hunters, Wife Swap, Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? and four seasons of CMT's Making the Team. She continues to do work for the Cowboys as an alumni and has had the honor of instructing tryout prep classes, and doing choreography for the team. She continues her professional career performing in industrials and performances in the DFW area. She spends her free time training as a bronze level ballroom dancer.
First and foremost her greatest joy in life is being a wife to her husband Paul, and mother to their two beautiful children, Piper and Roman.
Mollee is one of the most sought-after and top-working dancers in Los Angeles. Her professional and television credits include, SYTYCD Season 6, Shake It Up, X Factor, America’s Got Talent, Ellen, Drop Dead Diva, Big Time Rush, Glee, Victorious and The Voice. Mollee has also enjoyed dancing with artists including Taylor Swift, Snoop Dog and J Lo. In addition to her live and TV performances, Mollee has enjoyed performing in films such as High School Musical 1, 2 and 3 and MTV’s American Mall, where she was a principle dancer. Most recently, Mollee has been focusing on her acting career where she has found incredible success. Her first big break was as a supporting actress in the Ashton Kutcher film “No String’s Attached”. Recently children around the world have fallen in love with her acting and dance performance as “Giggles” in the hit DisneyChannel original movie “Teen Beach Movie”! While focusing on and continuing to build her own dance and acting career, Mollee has always enjoyed giving back to her dance community by sharing her love and passion for dance through teaching and choreographing.
Ade began dance training/competing at a young age. His childhood credits include touring with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens de Montreal and the film “A Diva’s Christmas Carol.” He is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, African and hip-hop. Ade is also an accomplished gymnast, having being named the Arizona State Champion at just ten years old. While attending Chapman University on dance scholarship, Ade auditioned for Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance and became one of the top 3 boy finalists. His dance credits include a nationwide tour with SYTYCD, performing on the Grammy's with Beyonce, Rihanna’s Hard music video, Alicia Keys Element of Freedon World Touras well as working with such artists as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, JLo, Kelly Rowland and the cast of American Idol. Most recently, Ade became a SYTYCD All Star and completed a 40 city National Tour. He's gone on to perform with contestants on America's Got Talent and X-Factor. Ade is also an accomplished, sought after dance teacher who brings his high-energy classes to studios across the nation.
Cisco was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is signed to Movement Talent Agency. Cisco has been dancing for 15 years and is versed in step, vogue and hip-hop. His credits include Tinashe , The Far East Movement, Lyrica Anderson, Master P and Tiny, Dallas Cowboys Dancers , Phoenix Suns Dancers, Nissan, Honda, Tiffany and Co., and Arizona Raw Talent.
Michael began his career in 2002 by booking a world tour with break-out star Kelly Rowland from the girl group Destiny’s Child. After that, Michael packed up and began a new journey in Los Angeles. Making a name for himself in a new city, Michael has been blessed to work with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Nicole Scherzinger, Cassie, Ricky Martin, Iggy Azalea and most recently Mariah Carey to name a few. Michael has also appeared in film and TV! His credits include: The Longest Yard, Ellen, Jay Leno, Kimmel, Gossip Girl, America’s Next Top Model, American Idol, X Factor, Dancing With the Stars, Oprah, BET’s “Born to Dance” starring Laurieann Gibson and the hit show Two and a Half Men. After enjoying television, Michael decided to get his feet wet in Reality TV. He was a contestant on Bravo’s “Step It Up & Dance” where he gained America’s attention by being a stand-out contestant and winning hearts with his personality. At the prime of his career, he received an audition email that would change his life forever. He was chosen as one of Lady Gaga’s original male dancers--gaining the Haus name “Mikey Mugler.” Michael accompanied her on a rise to superstardom. Michael performed in both her “Paparazzi” MTV Music Awards performance, Fame Ball, the Fame Monster and Emmy Award-winning Monster Ball world tours. He also appeared in music videos for Poker Face, Love Game, Paparazzi, Telephone and Judas. Silas accompanied the super star for four and a half years. Michael currently choreographs for a variety of Billboard recording artists and lives in Los Angeles.
TOKYO has a very unique induction into dance as he was not introduced to dance till he was a Senior in high school. Tokyo grew up in the martial arts and began training at age 5. By the age of 15, he attained several black belts in various arts in addition to training in Wrestling, Muay Thai, Boxing and MMA (Cage Fighting). At age 17, after a promising undefeated amateur record, just a few months shy of making a professional career out of MMA (mixed martial arts/cage fighting), TOKYO discovered dance and his life changed drastically. Since leaving the fighting world and entering the dance world, TOKYO has been fortunate enough to have done master classes and choreography in the US, Canada, Australia, Central America, France, Poland, Ukraine and UK for many studios, companies, colleges, casinos and Cirque Du Soleil. TOKYO is returning from France where he choreographed the largest musical production in France’s history, Adam et Eve. In addition, during his time in France, TOKYO choreographed and directed several music videos and TV shows. TOKYO recently choreographed several pieces for SYTYCD-Ukraine. Due to TOKYO’s background in martial arts his approach to dance movement, philosophy and teaching is very unique and has been received and loved by many. TOKYO is currently on faculty at the world renowned professional dance studio Millennium Dance Complex as well as guest faculty with EDGE, Broadway Dance Center and Perridance. He is extremely excited to give back to those that have given so much to him, through the art of dance!
Meredith Blattner graduated from Northwest High School where she was a four-year member of the Sidekicks and spent her Sophomore year as a Lieutenant, Junior year as Captain and Senior year as Major. She received numerous team awards such as Sophomore and Junior Sidekick of the Year. Meredith is also a three-year member of the HTE Dance & Kick Academy. In the fall, she plans to attend Texas Woman’s University as a Dance Major.
Angela graduated from Hebron High School where she was a four-year member and First Lieutenant of the Silver Wings Drill Team. She attended Texas Tech University where she majored in dance and was a four-year member of Dancers with Soul Hip Hop team. She is currently Director of the Eagle Emeralds Drill Team at Rogers Middle School in Prosper.
Emily is a fourth-year staff member for HTEDance. Emily graduated from Magnolia West High School where she was a member of the Fillies Dance Team for three years. She recently graduated from Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Emily served as Public Relations Chair, Vice President and President of the largest dance organization on campus, Dance Arts Society. In her spare time, she takes care of her puppy, Zola.
Kailyn is a proud 2018 graduate of Wylie East High School. She was a four-year member of the Wylie East Sapphires, serving as Lieutenant her Senior year. She plans on attending Blinn Community College in the fall where she will dance on the Blinn Treasures Dance Team. She will study engineering with the hope of becoming a project manager.
Erin Choats is a graduate of Belton High School, where she was a four-year member of the Magic Belles Drill Team. She was the leader of the team’s hip hop company for three years, and a class officer her Senior year. After high school, she became a member of the nationally ranked MCC Dance Company and is now at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She was on the school’s dance team for two years, was Captain her second year and is now the team’s choreographer. Erin is majoring in Physical Education with a pedagogy in Exercise and Sport Science and is on her way to becoming a drill team director. She is also a lead company instructor/choreographer at her studio and resides in central Texas with her husband, Tyler, and two Boston Terriers, Texan and Toro.
Kelsey Collins is a proud eight-year HTEDance staff member. She graduated from Clear Lake High School where she was a member of the Fabulous Falcon Flairs and served as Junior Lieutenant then Captain her Senior year. Kelsey graduated form Stephen F. Austin State University with a BS in Dance Education and her Secondary Teaching Certificate. While at SFA, she enjoyed her time on the National Champion SFA Pom Squad, Jack Attack and Repertory Dance Company. Kelsey is the Director of the Clear Springs High School Silverados Dance Team and loves living out her passion every day.
Naomi graduated from Montwood High School where she was a three-year member and leader of the Emerald Dance Team. She was given the honor to perform for all homecoming pep-rallies as a soloist, and was asked to perform with the Montwood High School Marching Band as a soloist in locations of: Midland, TX; Las Cruces, NM; and in her hometown of El Paso, TX. She received awards such as being voted most talented among her Senior class, and she was a three-year member of the HTE Dance and Kick Academy. She plans to major and receive her doctorate in Pathology. She also plans to audition for the Cirque de Sole in the future.
Melanie is currently a student at the University of Texas at El Paso where she is studying to get her BFA in Dance Performance. At UTEP, she is a member of the Golddigger dance team and an officer of Desert Dance within the Theatre and Dance Department. She has been a part of numerous stage productions as well. Melanie also is an instructor at Bazaar Models and Talent Agency where she teaches various styles of dance.
Natalie recently graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. She was just accepted into a psychology graduate program in Southern California. She was a dance major at Sam Houston State when she transferred to A&M and joined Fade to Black Hip Hop Dance Ensemble. She was a member for two years! She plans to audition to become a Mavs Dancer in the years to come!.
Brandon graduated from John F. Kennedy High School where he was a two-year member and Colonel of the Rockstars Dance Team. He received numerous awards including Grand Champion soloist of HTEDance and officer of the year. He is currently attending Sam Houston State University pursuing a degree in Design and Development Engineering with a minor in Dance.
Ryan is a seventh-year senior staff member. In 2007-2009 she was selected to be a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes! While a Rangerette, she performed in parades and sporting events in New York City; Stamford, Connecticut; Santa Barbara, California; and for President Obama’s 1st Inauguration in Washington D.C. After Kilgore, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Studies at Texas State University. She was Assistant Director of the Cypress Creek Silverado’s for four years. This is her second year as Director of the Cypress Fairbanks ISD All District Dance Team, and she is the new Head Director of the Jersey Village Gold Dusters.
Katelyn graduated from Texas State University where she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelors in English. While at Texas State, Katelyn was a world famous Texas State Strutter and was also a part of the pom squad. She was also the Head Director of the Veterans Memorial Starline Dance Team in Corpus Christi, Texas. Katelyn plans on getting her MFA in Dance and will continue pursuing her passion as a dance educator.
Jayda is in her fourth year at HTEDance. She graduated from Bowie High School in Arlington, TX in 2013. She was a four-year member of the Bowie Belles and served as Captain both her Junior and Senior years. Following her high school graduation, she later became an Internationally Famous Tyler Junior College Apache Belle where she served as Team Chaplain and Dance Captain her Sophomore year. As a Belle, she had the honor of performing for the troops at the US military base in Seoul, South Korea. She is an HTEDance Academy member and had the pleasure of traveling to Hawaii with the group. Jayda recently graduated from Sam Houston State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in business management. She is now the business and dance teacher as well as the Assistant Director for Shepherd Middle School and Shepherd High School drill teams.
Abby graduated from Wylie East High School where she was a four-year member and Captain of the Sapphires. She has received numerous honors and awards including the HTEDance Kick and Dance Academy for the past four years, and Regional Champion Soloist. She plans on attending Texas Tech University in the fall and majoring in Health Sciences.
Rachel graduated from Forney High School where she was a four-year member of the Highsteppers holding the position as Lieutenant her Junior year and Captain her Senior year. She has received numerous awards including “Highstepper of the Year” three consecutive years. Rachel is also a member of the HTEDance Academy. She plans to attend McLennan Community College in the fall where she is a member of the nationally ranked dance team.
Savannah Huisintveld recently graduated from Summer Creek High School where she was a four-year member and Captain of the Starlettes. She is currently Miss Texas Teen and was a Texas State Strutter this past year. She is currently pursuing a career in real estate.
Sarah Kardell graduated from Keller High School where she was a lieutenant both her Junior and Senior year for the Keller High School Indianettes. As a Freshman at Texas A&M University, she was a member of the Fade to Black Hip Hop Ensemble. She recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors of Interior Design.
Shaudae graduated from Dekaney High School where she was a four-year member and 3rd Lieutenant of the Dekaney Diamonds her Senior year. She is currently a student at Lamar University working on receiving a Bachelor’s of Science with a concentration in Dance. Shaudae is also a three-year member of Lamar University’s Dance Team and plans on trying out for officer.
Lyndsee Lemacks graduated from Harker Heights High School where she was a two-year member and Lieutenant of the Harker Heights Crimson Belles. Lyndsee attended McLennan Community College where she was a two-year member and Captain of the National Champion MCC Dance Team. Lyndsee continues her education at Stephen F. Austin State University where she became a two-time National Champion and was a two-year member of the National Champion SFA Dance Team. She recently changed her major to education and will soon graduate. Lyndsee is also a proud owner of a Mini Australian Shepherd puppy named Bella.
Abigail graduated from Northwest High School where she was a four-year member of the Varsity Sidekicks, serving as First Lieutenant and Major. She currently attends Kilgore College where she is a Rangerette. Abigail is majoring in Radiology and hopes to become an ultra sound technician one day.
Payton recently graduated from Forney High School where she was a three-year member of the Forney Highsteppers serving as Lieutenant her Junior year and Captain her Senior year. She is also a two-year member of the HTEDance Academy and received a staff invite her Senior year. She currently attends MCC where she is Captain of the nationally ranked Dance Co.
Melanie Mouton graduated from North Shore Senior High School where she was a four-year member of the Scarlets Drill Team, serving as Co-Captain her Junior year and Captain her Senior year. Melanie currently attends Texas State University where she is minoring in Business Administration and majoring in Dance Education with hopes of being a high school drill team director. Melanie is on her third year as a Texas State Strutter. As a Strutter, she has performed in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, multiple San Antonio Spurs halftime shows and the 2017 Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington DC.

Emily “Mimi” Northern graduated from Oak Ridge High School where she was a part of the Liberty Belles Drill Team for three years. She was on the elite team for two years and competed with her local studio. Emily is now going into her second year on the dance team at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She is majoring in Early Education with plans to teach Kindergarten while continuing to teach dance at various studios. She is also a licensed cosmetologist!
Viri Olmos graduated from Lamar High School where she was a three-year member of the Lamar Rangerettes Drill Team, serving as Lieutenant Colonel her Junior year and Colonel her Senior year. Viri was also a member of the HTEDance Academy. She recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. While at A&M, she was a member of the Fade to Black Hip Hop Dance Ensemble. Viri is currently finishing her dietetic internship and Master’s degree in nutrition at Texas Woman’s University in Houston and hopes to become a certified dietitian in the fall. Lastly, Viri is a member of the award-winning hip hop team from SoReal Dance Studios.
Jasmine graduated from Belton High School where she was a four-year member of the Magic Belles serving as Lieutenant her Junior year and Co-Captain her Senior year. Jasmine received numerous honors and awards and was also a member of the HTE Dance and Kick Academy. Jasmine currently attends Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where she dances on two student-run dance groups, Impact Dance Troupe and Shadow Dance Troupe. She is studying biological sciences in hopes of pursuing a career in the medical field.
Niki graduated from Clear Springs High School where she was a four-year member and Colonel of the Silverado’s. She served as officer for two years and Colonel her Senior year. Currently, Niki is a Sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach where she is studying Spaceflight Operations. In her free time, you can catch her at the beach, in the space suit lab or in the propulsion lab at school. One day, Niki hopes to send a man to Mars!
Brynn graduated from Magnolia West High School where she was a four-year member of the Fillies serving as Vice President, Co-Captain and Captain. She currently attends the University of North Texas, where she is studying environmental science and is a member of the Emeralds Dance Organization.
Megan Reynolds graduated from New Braunfels High School where she was a three-year member and Colonel of the Monoceras Dance Team. She is currently living in Lubbock, where she attends Texas Tech University and studies Architecture.
Sydney Rokas recently graduated from China Spring High School where she was a four-year member of the Electric Blues Dance Team serving two years as First Lieutenant and one year as Captain. She has received numerous honors including Rising Star of the Electric Blues and first place MCC soloist. She is also a three-year member of the HTEDance Academy and a two-year member of the HTEDance Kick Academy. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin in the fall and major in Communications and Leadership. Sydney is also a member of the UT competitive dance team.
Albert Ruiz recently graduated from Donna North High School where he was a two-year color guard member and competed at state with the Donna North High School Band. Albert was also a two-year member of the Lovely Spearettes and served as Line Officer his Senior year. He received many awards including best performer. He plans to attend the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and major in Dance.
Lesley Sanders graduated from Copperas Cove High School where she was on the dance team all four years holding the Captain position her Senior year. She attended MCC where she was a part of the dance company and went on to win two national collegiate dance championships. From MCC she transferred to Sam Houston State University where she received her BFA in dance. She is now working at Cedar Hill High School as the assistant director to the Highsteppers. This will be Lesley’s sixth year with HTEDance.
Bryan Smith graduated from Longview High School where he was a Viewette Line member and served two years as a Line Officer. He graduated from the Hartford Conservatory in 2007 with a double diploma in Dance Pedagogy and Performance and has performed and presented works throughout the Northeast and most recently Italy, France, Germany and Belgium. He has relocated to Dallas where he continues to teach and choreograph professionally.
Emma is a graduate from Belton High School where she was a four-year member of the Magic Belles, serving as a Lieutenant for two years and Captain her Senior year. She was a three-year member of the HTE Dance & Kick Academy and a Solo Finalist at HTEDance Nationals both her Junior and Senior year. Emma graduated from Kilgore College with her Associate of Arts degree in Dance and spent two years as a Kilgore College Rangerette. While a Rangerette, she had the incredible opportunity to travel and perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the 75th Anniversary Commemoration of the Attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and the Texas State Society Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. Emma is currently attending The University of North Texas where she is a member of the North Texas Dancers and plans to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and a Master’s degree in adolescent counseling.
Franklyn graduated from New Braunfels High School, where she was a three-year member and Senior Major of the Varsity Monocera Dance Team. She received numerous awards including The New Braunfels Youth Leadership award and Homecoming Princess. Franklyn is also a two-time member of the HTE Dance and Kick Academy. She plans to audition for the world-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes this July and attend Kilgore College in the fall.
Tiffany has been dancing for 14 years, taking studio classes for tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop, up until trying out for Little Elm High School’s Blue Angels Drill Team. She became the team’s first Sophomore Lieutenant, and then Captain her Senior year. She has received several awards in school and dance including Angel of the Week, three-year Miss Toe Touch, two-year recipient of first place Regional Toe Touch Champion, two-year member of the HTE Dance and Kick Academy and Homecoming Princess.
Vada Taunton recently graduated from Magnolia West High School where she was a four-year member and Captain of the Fillies dance team. She received numerous honors and awards including National Grand Champion Soloist, Regional Grand Champion Soloist and Miss High Kick. Vada is also a four-year member of the HTE Dance & Kick Academy. She plans to audition for the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes this July and attend Kilgore in the Fall.
Eric Taylor graduated from Longview High School in 2016 where he was a one-year member of the Longview High School Viewettes. He received Viewettes of the Week and Rookie of the Year. He will attend UTA in the fall where he is a member of the UT Arlington Mavericks Dance Team.

1) Completed application
2) Reference letter from your drill team director or dance teacher. This letter must have contact information in case we need to further discuss your reference.
3) Choreograph a solo
a. Any style you choose
b. Must be 90-120 seconds
c. Perform solo
4) Choreograph an intermediate-level field routine
a. Perform routine
b. Teach 2 eights of the routine to at least 3 fellow dancers
c. Record yourself teaching the students. This is so we can evaluate your field choreography skills, as well as your teaching skills.
5) Type solo routine notes
6) Type field routine notes and draw/chart formations.
7) Video yourself executing the following skills. Feel free to add any skills or tricks that you would like us to see in addition to the listed skills.
a. Multiple pirouette left and right (double, triple, quad, etc.)
b. Grand jete/leap
c. Russian/leap in second
d. Axel &/or multiple axels
e. Fouette turns
f. Four eights of straight kicks (prep, kick, prep, kick…)
g. Toe Touch (multiples if possible)
h. Any additional skills (switch tilts, turning leap in second, etc.)
8) On the video, briefly tell with us why you want to become part of our staff.
9) Photo of yourself. Please submit with your videos. This photo will not be returned.
While recording, please wear all black dance with hair pulled back out of the face. Performance makeup is appropriate.

We want you to be aware of the fact that if you are chosen to become part of our staff, you are not guaranteed a full summer of work. Camps are assigned based on seniority and skill. This also allows those who need time to prepare for college to do so.
Look for a reply regarding your application by mid-February at which time you will be given future dates and requirements should you be chosen to join our family.
