Summer Staff Members

Mak graduated from summer creek high school in the spring of 2023 as a four year member of her drill team. Here she served as a two year military officer including captain her senior year. She is currently in her junior year completing a BFA in Dance at Sam Houston State University and teaching at a dance studio in Madisonville. Mak loves her HTE family and is now a two year member of the HTE staff!

   Chelsea is currently in her 8th year as an HTEDance staff member. Chelsea graduated from San Marcos High School where she was captain of the Diamond Line. She graduated from Texas State University in 2016 with a BFA in Dance Studies. 

She spent two years in the HTEDance executive office as director of development. Chelsea is now the director of development at Simply Success. She continues to choreograph routines for teams all over the State of Texas and has a seven-year old beagle named Luke.

Hayley is a graduate from San Marcos High School, where she was a four-year member, Jr. Lieutenant, and Senior Lieutenant of the Diamond Line dance team. Hayley currently attends Texas State University in San Marcos as Dance Education Major and is a 3rd year Texas State Strutter & serving as a 2nd year Social Officer. In addition, Hayley also teaches teen ballet and contemporary classes at a local dance studio and is excited for her 3rd year as an HTE staff member! 

Avery is a graduate of Midland Legacy High School, where she was a three-year member, Junior Lieutenant, and Senior Captain of the LHS Dolls. Along with her drill team, she competed competitively for 9 years with her dance studio Absolute Dance. Currently she will be attending the University of Oklahoma in the fall where she will be majoring in Journalism. Avery plans to focus on sports media and broadcasting in hopes of being on your TV screen! She is so excited for her rookie season and all the memories that HTE will bring!

Molly is from Sour Lake, Texas. She is a graduate from Hardin-Jefferson High School & was a four-year member of the Starlettes and served as the Captain. Molly is a member of the 84th line of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Through Rangerettes she has performed in multiple halftime performances, the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii, and will eventually be performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City and travel to London, England to perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade. She is majoring in Elementary Education, and minoring in Theater. Molly is now a 3rd year veteran for HTEDance.

 Ally started dancing at the age of three in competitive studio training in areas such as ballet, tap, jazz, modern, clogging and lyrical. She is an Akins High School Alumna where she served as a Diamond Dazzler for three years. She was Jr. Lieutenant in 2005 and Captain in 2006 when the team won a national title. Ally was a San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancer from 2007-2011. After dancing for the NBA, she moved to NYC and took studio classes in all styles for one year. Ally graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Anthropology. Ally is now in her 7th year as the Diamond Dazzler Director. Ally has worked with professional dance companies for more than 10 years and continues to do so during her summers. Outside of work, Ally is a proud mother of two daughters, Ava (6) and Camryn (3) who are both in dance! ​Ally also has two dogs, a great dane and pit bull!

Payton is a graduate of new braunfels high school, where she was a three year member of the varsity dance team called the monoceras serving as lieutenant colonel her senior year. After high school , she attended Kilgore college and was a member of the 83rd line of the Kilgore college rangerettes. She then graduated this past may getting her degree in associates of arts and now plans to finish her schooling at the Texas A&M university in college station, majoring in kinesiology in hopes to become a physical therapist. 

 Jayda graduated from Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas in 2013. She was a four-year member of the Bowie Belles and served as Captain both her Junior and Senior years. Jayda then became a Tyler Junior College Apache Belle where she served as Team Chaplain and Dance Captain her Sophomore year.  Jayda  graduated from Sam Houston State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in business management.    Jayda is now a business teacher and dance director for Shepherd Middle and High School and is in her 5th year at HTEDance. 

Macie is a graduate of Bridge City High School, where she was a four-year member and Captain of the Bridge City Strutters. After high school, Macie attended Kilgore College where she was apart of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes 80th line. Macie has directed drill team for two years as well as gaining experience teaching at a local dance studio for four years. Macie now works as a head drill team director, teacher, and choreographer! 

Macey is a graduate of Wylie East High School where she was a member of the Sapphires for 4 years. She served as Sergeant her sophomore year and Lieutenant her Junior and Senior year. She now attends Oklahoma State University where she is majoring in Strategic Communications and is heavily involved in her sorority and shows. She spends her time
dancing and working! She is a second year veteran on staff.

Avery is a graduate of San Marcos High School where she was a 4 year member and served as a Spirit Leader/Social Officer, 1st Lt. her junior year, and Captain her senior year. Currently, Avery attends Tarleton State University where she is beginning her second year as a Texan Star. Avery is a Kinesiology major with a concentration in Coaching and Athletic Administration. Avery has been working for HTE for a year now and cannot wait to continue her journey with us! 

Bethany is a graduate of Arlington High School. She was a member of the Colt Kickers for 4 years, and an officer for 3 of those years. After graduating in 2022 she was on a professional dance company for a year called Urban Performing Company. Last summer, she made the 84th line of Kilgore College Rangerettes, and has just finished her freshman year at Kilgore. She has experienced many amazing opportunities while being there, and is looking forward to her sophomore year. 

Keaghan is a graduate of China Spring High School, where she was on the Electric Blues dance team. Keaghan has been dancing since the age of 2 and was a competitive dancer with Ignite dance company's senior team in Waco for 10 years. Currently, Keaghan is a junior at Baylor University where she is majoring in early childhood education. Other than school, Keaghan is a dog mom and loves spending time with her puppy, Ivy!

Kayla was a four-year member and two-year Captain of the Willis High School Sweethearts Drill Team. Following high school, Kayla attended Texas A&M University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Public Health. She was a member of the Texas A&M Dance Program and has been an HTE staff member for 5 years! Kayla is currently obtaining a Master in Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Lizette is a graduate of Sunset High School, where she was a two-year member and Sr. Lieutenant of the Bisonettes and a three-year member of the Sunset Dance Company. After high school, Lizette attended Trinity Valley Community College as a Cardette for two years. She transferred to Texas Woman's University as a Dance Education major with a minor in Business and Psychology. She was part of the Pioneer Pride Dance team for one year. She now dances for the Texas Lonestars in Arlington, TX. Lizette also teaches at Oak Cliff Dance Studio. She is super excited to be part of the HTE family!!!

Albert is a dynamic dancer and accomplished choreographer with a passion for excellence. Graduating from Donna North High School, he honed his skills as a member and officer of the Lovely Spearettes. His talent has taken him across Texas, where he's choreographed for numerous dance teams, securing titles along the way. Albert's journey led him to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he was a pivotal member of their dance team for two years. Seeking further growth, he ventured to the University of Arizona, contributing to their renowned dance program. Now, Albert has returned to UTRGV to complete his BA in Dance, driven by his dedication to the art form. This is Albert’s 7th year on staff!!!! 

Kat is a graduate of Northwest High school,  where she was a two year member and a captain of her drill team. After High School, she attended the University of North Texas where she graduated with her Bachelors in Criminal Justice. During these four years, she was apart of the first ever co-Ed Hiphop team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue, and she completed two years on the North Texas Dance Team. Kat is now a sixth year senior staff member with HTE, as well as a legal assistant at a law firm in Fort Worth. 

Shantel is a graduate of Klein Forest High School in Houston Texas where she served as senior captain her senior year. After high school, Shantel attended Sam Houston State University where she majored in Integrated Studies with a triple minor in Dance, Health and Communications. While there, she founded the award winning Dare 2 Defy Dance Team. She ran the program for 3 years and brought the program to Recreational Sports Level where they are able to compete all across the country. Now as the current assistant to the Thomas E Randle High School Royals Dance Team, she has helped assist the team to 2 Overall Grand Championship Titles and 1 Grand Champion title within their 2nd year as a team. Shantel is a 2nd year vet with HTE Staff and can’t wait for the summer with everyone!

Bryan  graduated from Longview High School where he was a Viewette Line member and served two years as a Line Officer. He graduated from the Hartford Conservatory in 2007 with a double diploma in Dance Pedagogy and Performance. He has enjoyed a professional choreography and performance career that has taken him throughout the US, Central Europe and Japan.  In addition to providing technique workshops and setting choreography on dancers throughout Texas, Bryan was recently Assistant Director of the DeSoto High School Eaglettes and Director of the JV Eaglettes.

  Jaci is a graduate of Vidor High School, where she was a three-year member and First Lieutenant of the Brigadettes. After high school, Jaci plans to still be on a college dance team to further her dance career as she loves to perform! She obtained her cosmetology license at the end of her senior year. Her future career is becoming a medical esthetician so she can make everyone feel beautiful inside and out! She loves to have fun and to live life to the fullest! Jaci is now a rookie with HTE and can’t wait to make the most fun memories yet!
