Meredith graduated from Northwest High School in 2018 where she was a four-year member of the Sidekicks and spent her Sophomore year as Lieutenant, Junior year as Captain and Senior year as Major. Meredith is currently attending Texas Woman’s University where she’s majoring in Dance Education and is a member of the Pioneer Pride Dance Team. She hopes to eventually become a Drill Team Director.

She graduated from Belton High School in 2008 where she was a Lieutenant of the Magic Belles.  She attended Texas A&M University where she was an active member of Sigma Phi Lambda Sorority, Vice President and Choreographer for Aggies and Motion, and co-created and lead Rejoice, a dance worshi

 Tiffany has been a dancer since the age of 3. She graduated from Belton High School in 2008 where she was a Lieutenant of the Magic Belles.  She attended Texas A&M University where she was an active member of Sigma Phi Lambda Sorority, Vice President and Choreographer for Aggies and Motion, and co-created and lead Rejoice, a dance worship event on the A&M campus.  Throughout college, she spent her summers at T Bar M Camps where she led team building activities for dance teams from across Texas. Tiffany has taught at several dance studios in the central Texas area as well as being the head director for Taylor High School (2015-2016) and Eastside Memorial High School (2016-2018).   She has a passion for helping students realize and achieve dreams and goals they didn't even know they had.  Tiffany and her husband just celebrated the birth of their first child in January 2019.

She spent two years in the HTEDance executive office as director of development. Chelsea is now the director of development at Simply Success. She continues to choreograph routines for teams all over the State of Texas and has a seven-year old beagle named Luke.

After high school, she became a member of the nationally ranked MCC Dance Company.   Erin then transferred to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and graduated with a degree in Physical Education with a pedagogy in Exercise and Sports Science. She was on the school’s dance team for two years and was Captain her second year.  Erin is now the Assistant Director of the Belton High School Magic Belles. She is also a lead company instructor/choreographer at her studio and resides in central Texas with her husband, Tyler, and two Boston Terriers, Texan and Toro.

Brandon graduated from John F. Kennedy High School where he was a two-year member and Colonel of the Rockstars Dance Team. He received numerous awards including Grand Champion soloist of HTEDance and officer of the year. He is currently attending Sam Houston State University pursuing a degree in Design and Development Engineering with a minor in Dance. Brandon is also on the Orange Pride Dance Team at Sam Houston and just received a prestigious scholarship for his major.  He just finished his spring internship with Social Movement Contemporary Dance Company in Houston, Texas and is absolutely proud to represent and be a part of the HTEDance family.

Ryan has been an HTEDance Staff member since 2011. She graduated from Cypress Ridge High School in 2007 where she was a member and dance officer of the Dazzler Dance Team. Ryan was a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette from 2007-2009. After Kilgore, she completed her education at Texas State University earning a BFA in Dance Studies.

  Ally started dancing at the age of three in competitive studio training in areas such as ballet, tap, jazz, modern, clogging and lyrical. She is an Akins High School Alumna where she served as a Diamond Dazzler for three years. She was Jr. Lieutenant in 2005 and Captain in 2006 when the team won a national title. Ally was a San Antonio 

  Ally started dancing at the age of three in competitive studio training in areas such as ballet, tap, jazz, modern, clogging and lyrical. Ally was a San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancer from 2007-2011. After dancing for the NBA, she moved to NYC and took studio classes in all styles for one year. Ally graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Anthropology. Ally is now in her 7th year as the Diamond Dazzler Director. Ally has worked with professional dance companies for more than 10 years and continues to do so during her summers. Outside of work, Ally is a proud mother of two daughters, Ava (6) and Camryn (3) who are both in dance! ​Ally also has two dogs, a great dane and pit bull!

While at A&M, she was a member of the Fade to Black Hip Hop Dance Ensemble. Viri recently received her Master's Degree in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University  and is now working as a Registered Dietitian at a private endocrinologist practice in Houston. Lastly, Viri is a current member of the award-winning hip hop team from SoReal Dance Studios. Since she joined the team, they have taken home first place trophies at World Of Dance Dallas and Houston.

Albert will be attending The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where he will be trying out for the dance team and follow his dream of becoming a Dance Director.

This will be Lesley’s sixth year with HTEDance.

She plans to attend Texas Tech University in the fall to major in Dance and minor in Education.

Staff Audition Information

Thank you for your interest in applying to be part of the staff at HTEDance.  We look forward to choosing our new instructors and preparing for summer camp.  Please be sure to follow the instructions and meet all deadlines.  If you have any questions regarding the requirements, please contact  HTEDance at communications@htedance.com or call the office at 254.652.0563. Requirements: 

1) Complete application.

2) Reference letter from your drill team director or dance teacher.  This letter must have contact information in case we need to further discuss your reference. 

3) Choreograph a solo.   

     a. Any style you choose  

     b. Must be 90-120 seconds  

     c. Perform solo

4) Choreograph an intermediate-level field routine.  

     a. Perform routine  

     b. Teach 2 eights of the routine to at least 3 fellow dancers 

     c.  Record yourself teaching the students.  This is so we can evaluate your field  choreography skills, as well as your teaching skills.        

5)  Type solo routine notes.      

6)  Type field routine notes and draw/chart formations.      

7)  Video yourself executing the following skills. Feel free to add any skills or tricks that you would like us to see in addition to the listed skills. 

     a. Multiple pirouette left and right (double, triple, quad, etc.) 

     b. Grand jete/leap 

     c. Russian/leap in second 

     d. Fouette turns 

     f. Four eights of straight kicks (prep, kick, prep, kick…) 

     g. Toe Touch (multiples if possible) 

     h. Any additional skills  (switch tilts, turning leap in second, etc.)  

8) On the video, briefly tell with us why you want to become part of our staff.  

9) Photo of yourself. Please submit with  your videos.  This photo will not be returned. 

 

While recording, please wear all black dance attire with hair pulled back out of the face. Performance makeup is appropriate. 


Please submit recorded videos on DVD or USB flashdrive ONLY!

 

We want you to be aware of the fact that if you are chosen to become part of our staff, you are not guaranteed a full summer of work.  Camps are assigned based on seniority and skill.  This also allows those who need time to prepare for college to do so. 

 

Look for a reply regarding your application by mid-March at which time you will be given future dates and requirements should you be chosen to join our family.
